Game will either be a high scoring blowout or a slowed down battle. Hope the horses from CC step on the gas early. This is a tough one to call, but I'll say Clay 79 Burg 57.
#5
End of the road for Wburg.

Jacket fever is running wild here in clay county :blondnurs call 911...Just kidding please don't call it's a joke my clay county friends Confusedmoke:

Give us your prediction 64Sur. As far as the mediocre comment earlier, I take that back. Burg is a good, solid team that seems very well coached!
#8
This is hard on me picking against kin folks coach marcum dad and my mom is first cousin.Bubba i have been with this football team i mean basketball team for 3 year solid.this is a special team with skyler back on the team.

williamsburg 64

75-61 Clay, 4 point game heading into 4th quarter.

Lol Williamsburg is a good team I won't take that away from them but if clay plays the way they can it won't be close but if they don't then they may be going home

could be close for a while, but clay should win
#13
If Williamsburg slows the game down, it will be close. Clay by 7. If they try to run clay by 17. Either way Clay should win this one.

Williamsburg has had quite a year. The group of athletes that make up the core of their athletic teams have truly lived up to the definition of "winners". A dream year for any school, muchless a small one like the Burg. All that said, I can't see Clay falling asleep at the wheel and letting the upset happen. Beating Knox Central was an eye opener for Clay County and Williamsburg will get their full attention. No blow out, but Clay by 10.
#15
First let me say that Clay Co is very good, what they did to Mboro was scary, but this feels like football season to me...All we heard was how good Hazard was, we would never stop Jones, then there was no way we could match Racelands speed...Clay should win, but don't count this group of basketball JACKETS out...GBO...
#16
Clay wins by 12.
Good luck to Coach Marcum and the Tigers.
#17
I think the difference in this game will be the mind set of the teams. Wburg, like Jackson co and Knox look at the region as the big dance. Whereas CC looks at the region as a stepping stone to the real dance. I think CC will come out focused and the results could be closer to the Mboro game than people think.

After 2 nights in a row its sucks in the arena. I bet I walk 10 miles I like the smaller gym....But its a great equalizer 64SUR. Confusednicker:

Could you see Williamsburg playing with SL, could you see Williamsburg playing with Knox Central? Maybe we just have assumed and not looked.

Go big ORANGE

Williamsburg better score more than 47 points if they want to hang with Clay. I think the arena has something to do with these low scores, but obviously Clay didn't have any trouble with that.
#21
I've changed my mind on this score. Baring a total stall effort by the burg. Clay wins by 29-33. Williamsburg just doesn't match up well. Hillbilly Hops Blake Smith will shut down Shelton or Griffith and Big Sleepy Jake Allen will dominate the paint. Wild man Wes Wolfe will push a double double . The It Factor Chip McDaniel will control the tempo while Relaxing Ryan House will splash 3's when needed. Instant Offense Trey Farmer will put about 15. All that equals a 79 -50 win for the tigers. Welcome to the Big Leagues Burg

I did not like the Arena either, would like to see it in High School Gym. Clay Co. is no Hazard. Clay by 14+ points. Hope I'm wrong but don't think so.
