Seems like it's usually the Saturday after the District tournaments are over. Ticketmaster has region tickets for sale for the following Monday. I figured Monday and Tuesday the girls would play then the Boys Wednesday and Thursday but I might be wrong about that. Just a guess.

Boys sweet 16 is 2nd. Rupp was host to the NCAA tourny last year and that's why it was so early.

The region draw is Saturday at 12:30. Boys games will be Wednesday , Thursday ,Saturday and the championship on Monday night.

Regional draw is Saturday @ 12:30 p.m. at Expo Center. Girl's state tournament is first this year. First 2 rounds of Girl's region is Monday and Tuesday

and yes, there will be plenty of radio people there, along with IMC channel 5 there also. If they do a live broadcast remains to be seen, I don't think they have done that in the previous years that I have attended.
