Looks like Williamsburg is looking forward to spring football.

Looks like Williamsburg has either tossed in the towel or just settled for all the happiness of beating Whitley...once...season made.
South was shooting the ball as well as they have at any time this season. Zach Baxter pretty much did anything he wanted. Grubb had four or 5 threes before the running clock. Curious how the Jackets seemed less than interested even early in the game, if they had pulled the upset they would have tied Whitley for third in the district. If my math is correct they now get to see South again in the district while Corbin will play Whitley. Not even a third of the fans came to the game tonight as for the for Willamsburg/Whitley game.
For a team that was picked by some to win the district it has been a disappointing season, at least from a fans standpoint.

I think Williamsburg wants to play south on a neutral court in Corbin in the district....This was a set-up game....just saying. :poker face:

Are you implying that Williamsburg threw the game, as in let South Win and win by a large margin???? If that happened to be true, the coach should be ashamed of himself, and should be relieved of his duties.
Or are you joking about the margin and the contrast in the two teams.....hopefully.

I think they would have still been 4th because Whitley won the 2nd meeting to win tiebreaker.

Second year in a row Williamsburg has quit at the end of season.

Who plays who in that district?

1 South Laurel vs. 4 Williamsburg
2. Corbin vs. 3. Whitley County
I think most people will take South Laurel and Corbin in the first round. The biggest question is who will win in the finals?
Can South beat Corbin at home? I think that's a tall task for anyone.

South Laurel has already beaten Corbin at Corbin this season. The visiting team won both matchups of these two teams this year. If Corbin looks past Whitley
Co., they won't even get to play South Laurel anyway.
