Lawrence Co changing District next year
#1
KHSAA confirm that Lawrence Co Basketball teams will remain in 57th this year, but will be moving to the 60th next year.
#2
Wonder where they will fall in hosting district tournament rotation. Next year is Lawrence year to host the 57th.

I bet a lot of people in the 57th are upset now.
The 60th got their way this year

politics at its best. 2 months ago they say "effective immediately". this week they say next year. fact is that pike county and floyd county got in there and influenced this decision. of course everyone will point out that this makes no sense, lawrence travels too far, phelps travels too far, etc. how come, and i will repeat it, how come nobody is suggesting moving shelby valley to the 14th and jenkins & letcher central? they are 10 miles closer to jenkins than lawrence is to boyd county. seems people like to say move lawrence back to the 16th. why not move shelby valley? since they are so concerned about "travel".
