Watching Sam Carr break that run and have it called back shows, Clay can put up some points. Wolfe has playmaking abilities too. There is no reason they should be scoreless on the year. The defense was playing fairly well for a quarter and a half, but when you get no help from the O it has to be demoralizing. Hope they can get things together this week.:HitWall:

Clay doesn't have a bad defense at all, I thought it lookedfairly impresive against HC. However offensively they need some cohesion as well as improved line play

I have a feeling that Clay felt like it's two first games wouldn't be winnable, Perry Central could have been the most atrociously called one sided ball game I've ever witnessed. This game officials will most likely face suspension. "No Body Was going to Beat the CHEATADORES on the opening night on their new rug". Harlan County.... well it's Harlan County nothing, else needs to be said.

I have a feeling that the Clay Staff has decided to show very little offense, I think we may see a completely different team on the field offensively this coming Saturday in the Appalachian Bowl.

I was very impressed with this Clay Co. defense. Their offense will come. Carr is a nice looking kid. Hang in there. Things will only get better for the Tigers.

Perry has to have the best home field advantage in the state! However, why sechdule them knowing this. Money? If So, clay coaching staff sold out. Also, why play Harlan when they are loaded and we aren't. Money? If so, clay staff sold out.

Whatever, we should have scored. Clay County football is hit or miss. Let the excuses fly!
