Harlan County 42 Clay County 0
#1
Final

Emergency Room Afternoon.

Congrats Bears.

Clay still hasnt been able to put any points on the board.

Ugly win! The bears had better take care of the ball next week, and cut out all those penalties!
#4
^
With Belfry really struggling with Somerset at home, the Bears should be heavy favorites next week as well.

I agree sir! The late hit penalties are ridiculous! HC is prob the best team in the mountains, but the way they played tonight with their penalties and fumbles could get them beat by a Belfry or a Johnson Central team without a doubt! It's early I understand, but they need to clean these things up over the next few weeks...

you can tell there young at a few postions,as bad as i hate to say it,next week may be ugly if things dont improve alot, but its about getting better very week, they will be fine by the end of the yr..

Easy win for the Black Bears tonight! I don't think they have anything to worry about when Belfry comes to town!

LOSERS QUIT WHEN THEY'RE TIRED, WINNERS QUIT WHEN THEY HAVE WON

I know a win is a win but my gosh, tonight was UGLY! We had over 100 yards in penalties and 3 fumbles lost. We look very sloppy on offense. Defensively we took care of business. We need to refocus and get ready for a battle next week.
#9
Well HC may have run away with it, but they came out flat, i'm hoping this was their one game where they just can't seem to get the train going. The defense was beyond awesome, but we just came out flat on offense....I'm confident they will get up for the Belfry game next week...Everyone is right about the fumbles and late hits, dang hold onto the ball and stop with the penalties...
#10
They were already looking toward Belfry! Kids aren't stupid they watched video on clay. They are guilty of looking ahead! The fumbles were not being focused, and Treyvon being rusty.

Congrats, Harlan County!

Here was my prediction on my website for this one.

Quote:Clay Co. @ Harlan Co. - The Tigers head into the deep dark hills of Eastern Kentucky to take on the Black Bears of Harlan County. The Black Bears are coming off of a big win and the Tigers are coming off of an ugly shutout loss to Perry Central. I'm calling that the Tigers fail to make it into the end zone for a second straight week. Harlan County 42 - Clay County 0

My other spreads haven't turned out so well lol

Why hello Zaga Fan...Long time no see
#14
Complaining about a 42 point win. It is nice to be king.
#15
Score. 42-0

Black Bears are 2-0.

A lot of players getting some PT. This fan ain't complaining. Only going to get better.
#16
Wasn't really complaining just pointing out obvious things that we all seen...it's hard to complain when you hold someone to 9 total yards of offense or something like that..Now time to concentrate on next weeks big showdown with the pirates..
#17
It was ugly at first but a win is a win! The officials total blew one call though! U had a Clay player running onto the field on a punt play and was not set and didn't get on his side when the ball was snapped and the officials throw the flag but didn't stop the play for illegal false start. Then to make it worse they call a block in the back on the play which was a punt. On the enforcement the white says over load speaker we have multiple flags so we will go with the one that hurts the most! I think he may even used those same words. The officials should have blown play dead, so the block in the back should have never happen. They should have marked it back 5 yards and replayed the down! That's just my opinion but I could be wrong.

Just as every thought the black bears took care of business. Not really much else to say other than that about this one. Next week will be thier first real test and not sure if belfry can hang with them either.
#19
You obviously dont know a thong about Belfry.they are for real
#20
Well, I know a thong or two about Belfry!
Confusednicker:
The Clay game offered us some great learning opportunities. Given our coach staff's reputation, I'm confident that they will put those opportunities into action!

Congratulations Black Bears on your victory!!

I in no way meant to come across complaining. I too was stating the obvious things that we need to work on before we go against a very good football team. Hey a win is a win and I am sorry to the Black Bear Nation if I came off like I was complaining. I guess it was easy to take it that way. Oh yeah, did anybody happen to see Fred Massey run the football last night. OH MY GOSH!!!!!
