Perry Central 21 Clay County 0
#1
Sort of surprised in this one.. Clay was optimistic following their scrimmage with Bell and Perry supposedly got handled fairly easy by Pikeville.
#2
Yeah surprised by this score
#3
This is the whole point of scrimmages not meaning much.
Im a little surprised by this one.

Congrats PC. Always like to see other teams from district 8 doing well.

I know that both teams are young, Clay has a lot of work to do I thought that they could run the ball on Perry but they could not to me Perry looks small, Clay looked a lot bigger but out of sink QB was not sure of him self when passing the ball. Perry moved the ball at times. Both teams have a lot of work to do before district play. Next week Clay at Harlan County could be brutal Perry at Corbin will be a good game. Good luck to both teams next week. Question when was the last time Perry had a shut out?
#5
Congrats to PC. They may be a little better than most expected.
#6
Perry done a better job than most thought they would. Clay has to be wondering what happened, I know they had high hopes this year.
#7
Came here just to ask the Perry faithful when was the last time they had a shutout?

Great defense by perry. Clay shot there foot off with penelties on d. Perry has to find more consistancy on o though
#14
Even though Perry got the win, not a good game by either team. If Clay cannot figure out how to score on that defense it's gonna be a long season.

Midway through second quarter it seemed as though Perry linebackers had Clay's count down and was teeing off. If Clay did draw them offsides it was very late in the game. Perry drew the Tiger defense off several times. Seemed like up front the Dores were on their toes and the Tigers were on their heels.
