At least the coaching positions have been posted now, so they'll have somebody in place for July 15 practice.

Sounds like a Commercial Grade Cluster-Mess in Jackson.
Here's hoping the politics and budget issues don't negatively effect the great Breathitt program. Always havehad a ton of respect for Breathitt County and my hope is the program is able to overcome the adversity and never miss a beat!

From what I have read and heard, it is the superintendent, that is going to negatively affect your programs, not politics and money. Got rid of football, basketball, baseball coaches and school sports. Not a sports guy from what they say.

it's going to get worse for Breathitt before it gets better.
State Commish Holliday just reprimanded 4 of the Breathitt Board members, warning them to get their act together or they'll be removed. Where last week they were merely figureheads, getting to go through the motions as board members, now they dont' even get to meet, and the public meetings are now just forums for the state Manager Hammond to make the public aware of what is taking place.
Breathitt will get the football position filled, but it won't be like the old days.

Looking more and more like Kyle may get the job. Heard he was taking a few kids to UK Sat. to camp..If he gets the job I think Breathitt may surprise some people next year, they have more talent than most people think...Holcomb is a great coach but don't forget that always surrounded himself with a good staff..After next season things might get rough, they are senior heavy for sure..
