I love UK but they will never beat UCONN in women's basketball. UCONN just too strong for them.

Ouch! It was so close but UCONN broke it open before the half.

Parity is still a rarity in women's basketball unfortunately.

At least a UK team made it to a Tourney and to the Elite 8!

âRelax, all right? Donât try to strike everybody out. Strikeouts are boring! Besides that, theyâre fascist. Throw some ground balls â itâs more democratic.â

This is why watching womens bball sucks.
Every now and then a major upset like the Baylor game happens, but its the saem dang teams every year thats dominating.
Its just no fun to watch.

While everybody here has made excellent, and true, points about parity - the one unusual thing I will mention about women's basketball is that unlike the men's league a 16 seed has beat a 1 seed in the tournament, back in 1998 when 16 seed Harvard upset No. 1 Stanford.
It was a tough defeat to a better team, but I truly believe Kentucky will continue to get better and reach UConn's level as long as Mitchell stays.

The pressure defense is what got them there but UCONN was shredding it after the first 10 minutes. No alternate plan. Great season though.
