Rosters announced for Kentucky-Tennessee National Guard Border Bowl

The National Guard Border Bowl matching all-star teams from Kentucky and Tennessee will be played Jan. 12 at the University of Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky. Rosters for the two teams were announced today and the Kentucky roster includes UK commit Jacob Hyde of Clay County.

Before people start fussing about some of the big time names not on here. I dont believe they finalize the rostet til after the anouncement of Mr Kentucky. Thats why you dont see Quick, Timmons, or Jonathan Jackson on here yet.

They try to keep the roster in the eastern part of the state for the most part.
The first few years of having it, they only picked kids east of I 75, but it has gotten bigger. I think its good to showcase good players that dont get the attention that lville players get every year.

Also Hyde.
Bloomfield was also but I believe he just recently hurt his knee so he opted out just recently.
Bolin was injured during season.
A lot of those guys also just got done playing in the All American Bowl games so they will not be playing in this one.

It is a Great experiance for the Players. Looks like the Weather is going to be Great with Temps projected near 70.
