Russell had a tough time with Spring Valley this morning.
SV fullback that has committed to WVU was a man among boys and hat big offensive line for the timberwolves is tough to handle. They will be in the title hunt this year in WV's largest class.
Bright spot for Russell was that the passing game looked better. Defense took some limps though? Good experience. Russell won't face a more physical team all year.
10-10 format. I know SV scored twice and Russell didn't score in the 1st varsity portion of the scrimmage.

I agree with you fball this was the best Spring Valley team I have seen.The fb was definitly the best player on the field and the ol was huge. Even with Ashland and Ironton on the schedule this will be the best and biggest team the devils will face this year,look for SV to make a deep run in the wv playoffs.I thought Evans looked real good and gives us a diminsion we havent had in a long time. I hope the coaching staff uses him in the right way.
