Bishop Brossart overcame a 3-0 deficit to upset No. 5 Notre Dame 4-3 on its senior night. Brossart – ranked No. 10 in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky softball coaches’ poll – tied the game 3-3 in the bottom of the sixth and won it in the seventh.

Brossart senior second baseman Molly Williams led off the bottom of the seventh with a single, was sacrificed to second, advanced to third on a wild pitch and took home on a throwing error. Williams finished 3-for-4. Brossart is now 23-11 and Notre Dame falls to 21-8.
