I did not know where to post this since it applies to all sports, but upon looking at the standings today I noticed that we are in second place and only a few points behind UNC for the Capitol One Cup. I am going to put it here in the basketball thread because more people will probably see it. Our basketball team winning the title obviously helped us a lot in the standings. Should the baseball team win the title this year, we will probably be a lock for it. UNC is pretty good in baseball too, with a 29-12 record right now.

I wouldn't call it a lock if baseball wins the title because it includes all NCAA sports and lacrosse and track and field are 2 sports UNC is very good at. If they win a title in one of those, then they might lock it up.

I like the Capital One Cup. Rewards the entire sports program
