Simon Kenton scored all three of its runs on wild pitches as the Pioneers held off Bracken County, 3-2 on Thursday.
Junior third baseman Caitlin Turner, junior center fielder Erica Lang and senior right fielder Emily Collins all recorded runs for Simon Kenton, which has won six of its last seven games.
The Polar Bears scored twice in the bottom of the seventh to pull within one, but Pioneers senior right-hander Courtney Morgan induced a grounder to second base to end the game.
