Williams started for Belfry and pitched the first 2 innings. The next kid they brought in finished the game, I believe.
Trey Stapleton pitched 6 innings for Prestonsburg, and Cody Chaffin pitched the 7th to get the save. Cody also had a gem of a double play in the 7th on a line drive hit back to the mound.
Great game. Both teams were putting the bat on the ball, but the Blackcats found a few more gaps than the Pirates. Both these teams are gonna get better. This region could be crazy this year...
