In a surprise move today, Coach Dennis Pardue has stepped down from the head coaching position at Russellville high school.

According to a reliable source close to the situation coach Pardue has decided that the timing was right to step down.

Coach Pardue had compiled a 142-90 record in the regular season with a 14-13 record and three district titles in the post season.

Since 2004, with coach Pardue at the helm, the Panthers have not missed the Region 4 tournament.
