Clay co 58 pineville 52--13th reg. Semis
#1
Clay County will meet N. Laurel in an all 49th district 13th region final.

Congrats Clay Co...My 13th region pick stays alive.

Congrats

Clay vs North I will go with North. It is very hard to beat a team three times in one year. Both teams have several key players returning next season. I believe the winner should get the early #1 rating next year in the 13th.

I think Harlan County or Clay County will be No. 1 coming into the season next year. North will probably be third. Harlan County and Clay County lose one starter each. North loses two.

Since the conversation came up about next season, I will also take a shot. Clay has to be #1 because they beat Harlan Co. in the regional (1. Clay Co. 2. Harlan Co. 3. NL 4. Pineville, 5. Middlesboro or SL
Back to the thread, congrats tigers. Also great run by Pineville with big wins over Barbourville and Corbin.

That's pretty close to what I have. I don't think the No. 1 team from the year before has to be No. 1 the next year though. I think I had Bell fourth after last year's regional. I look at who is returning, plus the JV and frosh teams from the season.

Clay County 58, Pineville 52: Tyler McDaniel’s 23 points helped the Tigers (24-10) top the Mountain Lions (12-19). John Simpson scored 18 and Byron David Asher had 15 points and 13 rebounds for Pineville.

pineville is well coached.their guards had trouble with clay`s pressure at times.clay`s freshman guard was the man late in the game.he made some big shots the seal the win.
