Buckhorn barely beats a good Wolfe Co team while Powell Co was in control through their first round match against Letcher Central.

Figured you'd say Breathitt since they are the team playing Knott and that's the only team you'll pick unless Perry is playing and they aren't.

Powell by 2, if Wolfe can play them close, Powell can win.

Just dont see Day coming all this way and losing to a team like Powell.

Powell is way over their head at this point in the tourney IMO.

Hey, I'd be upset if my team got beat out first round of District too. Especially to a team KNOTT has beaten and played to the wire at their gym..so with that being said I'll let it slide!

On another note I hope Buckhorn wins, I just don't think they will!

This is a tough one to pick. I think Powell Co. poses several match up problems for Buckhorn. Powell has a big man who could match up with Matt Day but, Day should be able to get him into foul trouble. I also think that Pelfrey and Marcum pose major problems for Buckhorn as well. I think Powell has a very good chance to win this but, I'm gonna go with Buckhorn because I really want to see a them in the Sweet 16. I love it when a small school makes it to Rupp!!

This could be a shoot out or it could be a defensive struggle and an ugly game. If Powell is hitting from the 3pts line then Powell will pull off the upset (imo) and usually Buckhorn doesn't score a lot of points in their wins unless Matt day scores 35pts but I'll go with Buckhorn by 8. I think Buckhorn's defense will pull them through in the end.
