i believe that kasongo has enough potential to be one of the best player in this region, but boy his attitude needs to change

^You will probably have to beat both teams from the 57th to win the region this year, so it really doesn't matter. What sucks is that Pikeville could draw Betsy Layne in the first round, then have to beat JC and SC both to with the region.

An all Pike regional final. That would be nice...

All three fan bases have been taunting like that for years. The boundries are pretty well known, or was when I was in high school..
And what does their foreign parents have to do with anything? What were the chants that you found offensive?
I hate Pikeville's fan section as well, lol..and have since they pulled that horse crap a few years ago...but they are definitely effective.
I agree 100%, fan sections and Pep clubs have done this for a long time. These sections getting in player's heads is what it's all about.

Cougar Connection Wrote:I thought the Fields kid played Branham tough and most of his points came on others trying to fight through picks where he did not switch off and stayed up close. He even got a five second call on him once. The difference was that Johnny Miller did not knock down the three-pointers like aganist SV, I got to give Pikeville credit for their defense. He still had plenty of good looks and just could not buy a three. But what beat ER was the Ray,Ray baby sitting that goes on game in and game out. He did not get back or rebound. Game over. Coach/Coaches on ER keep trying to calm him down and it takes away from the game plan. If he didn't get the ball in the post every trip he pouted and shut down. I cannot wait to see how his brother acts and the other players they are supposedly bringing for next season. Personally, I am getting tired of watching them babysit Ray,Ray. He either gets with the program or sets the bench IMO. Good luck ER in the regional touranment. The Fields kid must be more apart of the offense and not just a defensive role player. He can get to the rim whenever he wants and finish!
Didnt you babysit the feild's kid in much the same way at Elkhorn as they do Ray Ray up here? Yes he can get to the rim, which worked for you then in middle school when everyone was under 5'10, but that driving the lane out of control and drawing fouls will not work for him in highschool and you really should have not been afraid to teach him more about the game. He is a great athlete but at his size with out a perimeter jumper (not a puch shot from the waist) and better ballhandling skills he wont be much use on the floor other than to keep his mom off the coach's back!
