KC defeated Corbin Thursday night at Corbin. Both teams looked sharp offensively on their first drive with KC keeping it on the ground while the Redhounds used the passing of So. QB Clint Cashen to move the ball. Unfortunately, Cashen was sidelined with a shoulder injury late in Corbin's first posession. Early word was a separated shoulder but indications are now that it may be only a bruise. Although only a scrimmage and pretty much meaningless, this is a nice confidence booster for the Panthers and another step on the way to respectability.
First game in the Pan-o-rama featured Clay Co. and Williamsburg. W'burg looked surprisingly good in a 14-6 win. Both teams were hit hard by graduation coming off stellar seasons, but the Burg seems well on their way to recovery.

Welcome Hasbeen
Central did earn some respect, and things are looking up for the Panthers. The thing the surprised me was the support for this Central team, the stands on the Central side were full, and the fans behind the team 100%, and also tonight I notice that businesses had on their board wishing the football team good luck. Congrats to panthers a successful win scrimmage or real game against Corbin is always tough to come by.
