I was just curious as to how you all have adjusted to changing districts and regions this year. I have always heard that the 57th District is a rather competitive place to play. Was there a major change from what you were used to in the past??

Wasn't that big of deal for me since we played those same teams when I was in school ( of course thats been quite a while)then got moved into the 16th so in a way was like going back in time when we got moved back into the 15 th..lol Was kinda cool to see how some schools have changed and others haven't in that amount of time.

I agree with BBallMama. We were warned about how the refs allow a lot of rough- housing on the floor, which they do, but there's not really a whole lot of difference.

there is not a easy region any more.in the 16th you had ashland, russell, west and east carter, rowan county, boyd county which were all well coached and with a lot of tradition in every sport.the biggest difference is that the academic programs are far and above anything in the 15th with the exception of jchs.

I agree with Dawg--16th region coaching is top-notch. They all do their homework and have good game plans.
