Coach: Bev Smith (12-38 in two seasons at Silver Grove)
Last season: 8-18 (lost to Calvary Christian in first round of district)
Key players: Sr. F Payton Govan, Jr. C Desiree Gossett
Outlook: Govan, who hit 54 3-pointers last season, is a fourth-year starter. She averaged 12.7 points and 8.7 rebounds. Gossett, the first player off the bench last season, averaged 5.8 rebounds. The coach would like to see Gossett improve her scoring and join Govan as a threat so defenses can't key on the team's only returning starter
