Last season: 5-20, lost to Moore 63-43 in 26th District semifinals.
Player to watch: Devin Mayfield, a 5-11 junior guard, transferred in after averaging 16.3 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists in Illinois last season.
Other top players: F Andy Read (6-4, Sr., 8.8 ppg, 7.9 rpg); G Marcus West (5-10, Jr., 10.3 ppg, 2.2 rpg); F Tyler Pelton (6-2, Sr., 3.5 ppg, 1 rpg); G/F Josh Floyd (5-11, Jr., 0.7 ppg, 0.5 rpg).
Outlook: Led by Mayfield and West, the Rebels should be a guard-heavy team and will have to push the pace to overcome their lack of size. Read is the only player taller than 6-2. Depth also is a concern, as there is little varsity experience beyond the top five
