Some stats for Holy Cross:
Kyle Fuller - rushing: 14 for 81 yards and 2 TDs - passing: 12 of 20 for 304 yards, 4 TDs, and 1 INT.
Eric Walker - 4 catches for 165 yards and 2 TDs.
There was exactly 8:40 left in the 3rd quarter when the game was called. It seemed appropriate that on Halloween weekend, the Covington City Championship was called early due to a power failure. Seriously, it might have been a blessing that the game ended when it did. With playoffs starting next week, kids did not need to get hurt. Holmes committed numerous personal fouls once the score got out of hand. No handshakes. Players were sent to the bus in the dark. A player from Holmes quit in the middle of the first quarter, took off his uniform, and went into the stands. Very unfortunate scene.

Holy Cross senior quarterback Kyle Fuller passed for four touchdowns and ran for two.
Holy Cross finished the regular season with a 7-3 record after earning the win when the game was called with eight minutes and 40 seconds remaining due to power failure at Holmes’ football complex.
Fuller was 12-for-20 for 304 yards and had 14 carries for 81 yards and two touchdowns.

In the prediction thread, I said Holy Cross would win in the street fight as a joke. But with all the personal fouls and cheap shots flying around, it's a very good thing those lights "went out" when they did. That game could've gotten very ugly, very fast.
With that being said, good luck to both teams in the playoffs. Would be nice to see a state championship come to Covington.

^ I hope Holmes can get the team back together. It's a shame to see how this team has declined after what Lickert started to build

Holmes has lost about 20 players in the past couple of weeks, that's what happened to them.
