The new kid, Josh Poynter that they have in will help the Indians this year a lot. 6'2 or 6'3 point guard

He is a senior, good slasher, to me he is a point guard but maybe a 2 or 3 ,ugly shot but hits some, biggest weakness is he dribbles too much....
Interesting to see if new coach opens up all positions or not. If So there isn't 5 in the school better than Josh.

If the bold is true, there are plenty in the school better. The key to Coach Wise's fast paced offense is getting the ball up and down the floor. And dribbling is not part of that.

That is easily corrected with coaching, talent wise there.

We play Montgomery Co at the beginning of the season, so I will look for this kid and see if he is playing.

I don't know, the twins he had at Frankfort dribble alot. You can bet if the kid can play Wise will find a way to use him.

A parent I talked to last night did not know who this kid was. I also heard today that he had decided after the summer working with the other players that it was not a good fit so he quit. I do not guess we will know for sure until October 15th.

Montgomery already has a point guard in Brandon Fruth that has plenty experience and an upcoming sophomore point guard in Austin Crisp that has alot of skill. Havent heard much about any new kids though. I will ask around

I found out that he played with the JV this summer to get use to the system and ended up quitting, figuring it wasn't for him. He might still try out especially with everyone learning a new system now. I heard he could slash but definitely needed to work on his handles and had a hard time with his left hand layups.
