Morgan's defense pitched the shutout as the cougars improve to 1-0 on the season. Boyd never could get any momentum offensively as Morgan's D brought pressure on their qb all night. Offensively Holbrook, Kidd and Whitt all scored. Thornsberry for Morgan scored on 60 yard punt return. Morgan's defense had 3 interceptions and 6 qb sacks tonight. Walker Crase had 8 solo tackles and 2 qb sacks for Morgan county.

Morgan was all over big #9 for Boyd county all night long. Morgan county totally wore Boyd county out in the 2nd half.

Sounds like more of the same for Boyd again, can't even win the in the weakened schedule. Gonna be another long year at Boyd.

I think Morgan has finally got there talented youth to be Juniors and Seniors and its paying off big for them now. They are playing some pretty good ball thus far! Congrats on the win!
