Boone County broke through on the first play of the second quarter when Bryson Thompson scored on a 28-yard TD to put the Rebels up 7-0

The Rebels have committed three turnovers and forced two. Conner QB Drew Barker was 6 of 11 passing for 40 yards and an INT, and rushed for 72 yards on 9 carries in the 1st half.

Conner drives 45 yards on 11 plays capped by Barker’s 1-yard TD run to get the first score of the second half .

Boone answered on Drew Stuck’s 1-yard TD run, which capped an impressive 96-yard drive. Boone County leads 19-7, 3:15 left.

No more scoring – it’s a final. Boone County gets the victory.

Not necessarily. He's a sophomore. Lots of up side.

Saw Boone County play last week, they are a pretty good team.

its hard to buy into the hype from combines and passing camps. there's no legit pass rush and it lacks the game experience. im certain barker will be a fine QB in the future, but he's got a long way to go.

nice win for the rebels, they're looking good so far, they could be a NKY6A sleeper
