May...Ron,Dustin,Bob and others
Ramey...James and Kelly
Hatfield...Brad, Tim Bob, and Floyd and a million more
Jones...Clipson and David
Dotson

Good list, the only "must have" name I don't see is Howard:
Doug, Paul Jr, Josh, and Jeremy

Caudill gets honorable mention just off of Micah and Jonah's career stats alone

Yep I had the Howards with all them boys on there and forgot to type it in. Thanks EKU and hope you get home to a game this year. It is a great home schedule for the Big Red.

What about Pangalo for New Cath? It seems like there is always at least one of them in the school at a time, and they all play sports.

For the school overall you have to look at the Pangallos as the possible biggest name associated with Newcath. But in a football thread I am not so sure, not many of them played with the pig skin.

But the Kelly's have Pangallo blood, just not the name...

Mike (NCC Class of '84) needs to get busy then, lol. I knew him at EKU, and he was one helluva football player. If he had been 6'3" or taller, he could've played ANYWHERE he wanted.

Clay---Pennington

I played against both Roy and Greg Taylor . . . they were BEASTS for Corbin. Were there others in that clan?

Other prominent "Redhound" names from back then were Francioni, Steely and Rose.

Also, was there only one Onkst, or did Rusty play for about eight years?

Exactly - the bloodline for the Kelly's is filled with Zimmerman and Pangallo blood!

The name that pops for me for Belfry is --- Varney.

Just a lot of good players to carry that name over the year.

Arlinghaus is a huge name at Holy Cross, Ted Arlinghaus (Arlinghaus Builders) helped create football at HC back in the late 90's and he's had i think 3 sons play, most notably Jared last year.

Walker is the Cincinnati connection at HC.
- Gerald played QB after transferring from Elder
-Robert played D-Line and played at Thomas More, he's now at Mount St. Joe
-Markel played QB before Jared and went to EKU, he's now at UC
-Eric is a senior and a starting WR/DB
and their uncle is a longtime DB/WR coach at Holy Cross, his son Phil Moore played RB in 06 & 07, and to top it off, they're all related to Robert and Rodney Stone

^ I was asking about the Holmes connections. I knew those names but not the history of them.
