Mike Mendenhall III is the new head coach of the Lafayette boysâ program. He has been assistant on Lexington Catholicâs current staff for the last 6 years, preceded by 3 at Lafayette, and 2 with the old staff at Catholic. He already teaches at Lafayette, and is well-qualified for the job. His father (MM II) is still an assistant at Catholic.
Lafayette has a good core of players and perhaps this will give them a boost back from the adversity of last season.

Here's hoping they get back to sustained success.
