Final from Collins
The Titans lost their first regional game of the season last night. Both teams advance to the 8th Region Tournament next week at Simon Kenton, where I think the Titans have a great chance of making it to state.
From the Sentinel-News:
The field wasn't the only thing sloppy at Collins High School Thursday night.
Anderson County (14-15, 5-1 in the district) took advantage of several early miscues by the Titans (18-6, 5-1) and then held on for a 10-7 victory and the 30th District Championship.
"We got started way too late," Collins Coach Roy Bailey said. "We came out and kicked it around in the first two innings, and you just can't do that."

Congrats to Collins. This was a tremendous season for the first year school. The sky is the limit for this young school
