Looks like Lawrence is going to have another dominant year in the 15th. Saturday they dismantled Pikeville and Greenup. Scored at will and pitching, defense was great.

They seem to be a solid #1. However, anyone can slip up on a given night. How many seniors does this LC squad have?

This years' team is loaded with young talent and they have depth and upperclassmen with experience. Pitching staff is really good, and they hit the ball really well as a team. They should be able to make a run to the state tournament.

Out of the teams that LC has put on the field in the past 5 years I believe this year's team is the best. Even though they are young, they are experienced. I agree with LCgrad that this team hits the ball very well. Already have 3 homeruns as a team. They have the capability and the personnel to be very dangerous in the post season.

I would be very shocked if they beat Johnson Central. To much power there!

It could go either way between these two teams. Central has what it takes to win the region too, but I wouldn't say I would be very shocked. If Lawrence County can stay healthy they could very well be going back to Owensboro for the 3rd time in 4 years.

From what I have seen they have a solid team, but still yet, make too many errors.
Like others have said, anyone can slip up on any given night and if that night happens to be against a JC or the like it may just mean a loss.
Good Luck Dogs!
