Jay Smith hit 1 of 2 free throws to take a one point lead for the Bearcats (6-12) but with time expiring, junior guard Eric Schreiner hit a last second fade-away jump shot for the Rockets (4-15) to get the win. Schreiner finished the game with a total of 11 points and Desmond Walker had 12 points for Shelby County. Anderson County was led by sophomore Logan Woodside who dropped in 22 points.
