Next week will begin the 15 day countdown to the season! Now lets keep this one clean and positive and discuss teams. I'll start.

Already alot of hype between Pikeville and LC but i think Johnson Central will surpise people as well as Sheldon Clark

Dusty can we fudge a little bit, by going out in the backyard and yelling "Play Ball".Anything that might raise the temp a little. And by the way again I will say that the 57th is not a two team race. Jackson from Paintsville has put on some nice weight and will be a problem for anybody he faces.

Alright, Alright, I'm with you! We at CCHS have been chomping at the bit BAD. I'm sick of seeing thera-bands, running sprints, and countless reps of ab-work, I want it too! We are planning our tryouts next Wednesday full well expecting that we are going to have to do everything indoors again!

I'd love to hear of any other coaches plans for tryouts when it is all indoors, with minimal concrete time. We will make first-cuts on Friday and final cuts the following Wednesday.

CUTS. Hmm. CUTS. Let me see now. Is that when a runner is going to a base,the ball is in play,a throw is made to that base and the defenseive player is struck on hand by the offensive players cleats? It is nice to know that there are schools out there who have enough kids out there to be concerned with a cut.

We have 24 signed up for Frosh tryouts and expect more on the 15th. We have 45 signed up Soph-Senior. Our entire roster will fall between 40-45 players total in the program. And we have been trying to get the school to allow for 8th graders to tryout but have yet been successful.
