The Cornett brothers played well in this one.
Nathan Martin played well also, but was locked down in the 4th quarter.

I agree. The Cornett brothers played well for PC and so did Martin for BL until Coach Hatcher chased him the whole 4th quarter, really wouldn't much he could do than but hes a very nice player. I was impressed with his shooting ability.

PCC has some young and undersized guards, I wonder how that will pan out against the experienced and bigger player like Hooker on Friday.

It will be tough.
Dustin Brewer gave up 5 to 6 inches to everyone he guarded tonight but still managed to play great defense but John V Hooker is a different type of athlete.

Is this score (51-41) correct? KHSAA is showing 53-42.

Perry has the potential to be a really good team. They have a lot of size and athleticism.

Can't understand why Reznick got benched after shutting down the big man inside. and why Henson didn't see any playing time the second half after being the second leading scorer the first half, does the Coach want to WIN?

Hamilton hit some big shots at the end. Darn good freshman. Good job Dylan.

IMO, Perry is not out of talks for the Regional title. I for one, will not be shocked if they went to state this year.
Cornett brothers stay healthy, there will be problems for other teams that meet this Perry team.
Grat's Perry on the win.

Martin could be the best player in the mountains, he is amazing. Perry is so much bigger then everyone else that it will take a great team to beat them. Congrats Perry

Perry's bigs are good but I wasn't impressed with their guard play what so ever.I think that will hurt them come tournament tyme.

Their guards are Very inexperienced this year, only 1 of them(Brewer) played any varsity bball last year and that was VERY limited time. Combs is a junior and never got in a varsity game and Beverly is only a 7th grader. I think they should be solid by seasons end and all they have to do is get it up the court, the Cornetts should take care of the rest.

I squeezed off a few pictures. There are also some of the Clay County - Knott Central game within the same photo set.
