Pendleton County jumped out to a 7-0 lead after the first quarter, but Ludlow responded in the second with a 15-yard touchdown pass. Looking to tie the game on the extra point, Pendleton Co. rushed up the middle and collapsed the offensive line to block the kick for what turned out to be the game-changing play.
Ludlow sophomore quarterback Burt Bouncey finished 3-of-7 for 44 yards, and went over 1,000 yards passing for the season.
