Morgan county jumped out to a 22-6 halftime lead against 3-0 Magoffin county. Magoffin county made a tremendous second half rally just as they did against Paintsville but on 4th down in the closing minute Morgan county coverted on the first down to seal the deal. Morgan county played without starting qb Jared Curd. Morgan county is a much improved team and with Magoffin's spread offense they are never out of a game. Magoffin has a very good qb and several good receivers. :Thumbs:

Magoffin just couldn't get there offense going until the second half. It also took them till the second quarter to get there defense going. 22-0 Morgan after first quarter. Morgan county went into this game ready to play and never quit even when Magoffin made a late run at them. Congrats to Morgan on a good win.
