Final from Somerset. The Briar Jumpers dominated the game from the outset. It was 49-7 at halftime with the Lakers touchdown coming on a kickoff return. Somerset scored on the opening drive of the 2nd half to institute the running clock. Russell County scored a couple of 2nd half touchdowns on the Somerset reserves. Time to get ready for the Admirals.

What made this game start so late

It started on time at 8pm. The 8pm start was due to Russell County being on Central time so it would have been a little early for their fans to make it over to the Briar Patch by 7 or 730 Eastern time. It was over by 10, I went to a class reunion party afterward and just got around to getting online.
