I wonder if they will be playing Pikeville at home, and if so.. How would one go about getting tickets? I want to go to that game I live pretty close to p-ville.

I'd like to see them play a regular season game at the Izod Center

The odds of Rick Pitino lasting 20 seconds with a woman is greater than Duke accepting a home/home with us.

I really like the way the schedule has set up. I am really liking the away games, getting the brand out there (Portland). The Maui tourney will tell us early, what to expect out of the first half of the season. Potential tough games (if we get by Oklahoma) against Washington and Michigan St. to win that tourney. That will be a HUGE test. Get past Maui and we may be going into conference play with one loss. Loss to Washington or Michigan St. I think it tells a little more that the team is working out the kinks and they may loss 2-3 out of conference.

Cal work on the schedule and so far I think he is doing everything right with the scheduling process. So I am going to say, (If Kanter is playing). UK wins the Maui tourney, wins against Notre Dame and UL but takes one loss from UNC in Capel Hill, out of conference. Fantastic start and I will be on cloud nine if they make this happen.
Go Cats!!

Duke's agreed to play us in the regular season before...
I don't see why everyone thinks it's such a long shot

Well, the schedule looks pretty good to me. At the very least, it seems like it will be more challenging out-of-conference than last year's slate. In 2009/10, except for the three rivalry games (UNC, U of L, Indiana), we had UConn and a bunch of cupcakes. Heck, even the best other team in our holiday tournament last year was Stanford (thanks, Billy G).

This year, in addition to the rivalry games, we get a neutral-site game with Notre Dame, and an interesting game at Portland (who beat Minnesota, Oregon, UCLA, and St. Mary's last year). The Maui tourney has us playing Oklahoma first, probably Washington next, and if we beat the Huskies probably Michigan State in the finals.

The only complaint might be that the home shedule is a little weak, since all the big nonconference games are either on the road or at a neutral-site. But the silver lining is I guess that will prepare the team for the NCAA's well.
