List some qualities/characteristics that you think make great leaders great. Include whether you think they are born that way, or learn to be through experience. Thanks.

1. They must be passionate about their job (Born with)
2. They must care about their followers. (Born with)
3. They must be able to be trusted. (Can be earned )
4. They must know what they're talking about.(Usually through experience and teaching)
I think if they are missing any of these they can't be a great leader. For example, I could be passionate, really care and trust worthy, but if I don't know what I am talking about, people will not respect me.

The greatest leader to step on this planet was and is Jesus. His example is tough to follow but none greater exist:

1. Love for his followers
2. Love for his enemies
3. Great acts of kindness
4. Right anger over issues that stood against the Father
5. Committment to the cause to the point of death

A tough act to follow but one worthy of trying. Tony Dungy is a great example of a Christ led leader who without profanity and yelling has led teams to the highest levels of achievement.
