Auburn hired Tony Barbee as basketball coach Wednesday night after he led UTEP to the regular-season Conference USA title and the NCAA tournament.

Auburn should've given Lebo the chance to recruit with the new arena. Could be a great coach they hired, but I thought Lebo got a bad deal.

He'll be a good fit there. He can recruit, and he knows the game. And he was an assistant under our great Coach Cal. I don't see him turning the program around quick, but if they give him long enough, he could have them near the top of the SEC in bout 6 to 7 years.
