Lincoln County vs. Southwestern (12th Region Semi-Finals)

This game will be played on Friday at 6:00 PM in Stanford. Who wins? Comments? The winner of this games plays for the 12th Region Championship on Saturday.

Yes, Stanford is the city in which Lincoln County High School is located. Or are you referring to the fact that they ALWAYS host either the boy's or girl's tournaments?

I personally think that the Region should alternate like it used to. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Backdoor, why doesn't the regional tournament rotate to all the schools anymore?

I agree. southwestern, wayne, rockcastle, McCreary central, and Boyle all have gyms that could host the region. I dont know how big Garrard county new gym is never been in it. there is more, but i cant think of right now. but i do think they should move around a little more.

I agree as well. Rockcastle has hosted the 13 Region Tournament, boys and girls a few times, RockSolid69 could tell me if I was right or wrong.

If Rock can host the 13th, why can't they host the 12th? If Lincoln County is a central location for a team like Wayne County and Monticello, then Rockcastle County CERTAINLY is.

If Southwestern comes out hot this could be a major upset. I'm gonna say Southwestern 10 +.....if they play like they did against East Jessamine they can beat anyone!Not a team to be overlooked IMO :Clap:
