The Lady Cougars played awesome!!! They beat the Lady Bobcats 54-45 at Breathitt. Way to go Lady Cougars. What a way to go into District play with a solid win against a team that has not lost a regional game in 3 or 4 years!!! Looks like Breathitt went to sleep for the 3rd quarter. congrats to the lady cougars for finally getting over the hump and getting a big win against Breathitt.
I believe this is the first loss to a region team in the last 3 years for them. Gives the Lady Cougars a little confidence going into the regional tourney if they can get by JBS and make it to the big show.

This is a big win for LCC they have had problems defeating Breathitt the last couple seasons. (every 14th region team has though) This may be the win to put them over the hump. This could be the 14th region championship game.

Good win for LCC, I hand it to them they played a good game. First time in I think 3 or 4 years we have lost to a 14th region team. However, I dont think that Breathitt having 3 points in a quater will be something that happens alot.

I am predicting the final 14th region game will be between LCC and KCC with LCC winning.

They beat Breathitt for the first time 3 or 4 years, that doesn't mean that you have won the region. I will say this loss made the ladycats mad and determine and the Ladycats are very good when there mad. I'm not saying this game is a fluke but I don't see them losing again to them. I think that the Breathitt will win the region and win a couple games in state.

How many cougar coaches are they? I recently attended the game @ Breathitt and their coaches just about out numbered the players. There should b a limit on how many gets in free. However Cougars had a great game, lots of 3-point action. Breathitt seemed to have a bad night. Although I dont think the lady cougars could finish off the Ladycats in tournament.
