Los Angeles Dodgers manager Joe Torre only has one year left on his contract and he is apparently working with the team on a one-year extension, according to WFAN.
Torre told the radio station as much yesterday. You'd think it's likely the 69-year-old is getting close to retirement. Torre also mentioned that the team is looking for a fifth starter but will most likely find that arm within the system.
The Dodgers, of course, don't have a ton of cash to throw around right now due to the lousy economy and the acrimonious divorce of owner Frank McCourt and former team CEO Jamie McCourt.

What ever he gets, he's earned.
