Trinity Adds Iroquois to Schedule for Wednesday
Game Replaces Tuesday Matchup with Eastern
LOUISVILLE, Ky. â No. 1 Trinityâs will host Iroquois on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 in Steinhauser Gymnasium in a game added to the schedule on Tuesday afternoon. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m.
Six senior student-athletes will be honored in a pre-game ceremony prior to their final home game in Steinhauser Gymnasium. The six members of Trinityâs senior class on the basketball team are leading Mr. Basketball Candidate Josh Sewell, Taylor Epley, Clayton Netherton, Dylan Kupper, Aaron Bisig and Daniel Corbett. Fans are encouraged to arrive at Steinhauser Gymnasium by 6:25 p.m. for the ceremony.
The Shamrocks are currently ranked number one in the state of Kentucky and have won 21 consecutive games overall. The team has not lost since Dec. 15, 2009 in the fourth game of the season. Trinity is now 23-2 on the season, posting the second most wins in program history behind the 29 wins in 2004-2005. The team is unbeaten away from home, posting a 19-0 record in such games.

Should be a very good game. Its always fun to hear about the Best of the 6th battle the best of the 7th.
