Pretty impressive numbers for Lafayette

Sounds like Lafayette took some frustration out on SF after the losing big to Lex. Christian.

wow are they that good?

Lafayette is pretty good. South Floyd did not play that bad for about three periods and then really fell apart in the fourth. I don't think any loss can help but playing against good competition can and even though it ended up very bad on the scoreboard at the end, I saw hope for the tournament. There is an old saying that teams don't have to go away from home very far to get their rear end kicked and this is certainly true for us but sometimes seeing other teams from away and how they execute and get after it on defense opens ones eyes a bit. I look forward to the tournaments and every team washing the slate clean, It's a new life for everyone including the coaching staffs and sometimes just getting a little hope can carry a team a little farther down the road.

Jackson Davis is an 8th grader for Lafayette. He had 10 points. How did he look? Is he about 6'7 of 6'8 now? I haven't saw him since he played with the KY Elite last year. His dad Jonathon played at UK.

I can understand, when you know your team MAYBE competing downstate for maybe a sweet sixteen game or region crown, but a team like South Floyd?? Really odd to see this late in the year for a small school like that.

There have been a few games added to SF's schedule in the last little bit...... So I dunno if they were just filling spots on the schedule or what.....

Coach Coldiron needed a game because of someone not being able to play them and South Floyd had a couple of teams that dropped after the schedule was first made for them. South Floyd didn't play that terrible for about three quarters and were outscored 24 in the fourth when it got pretty ragged.
