Josh Sewell Becomes Trinity’s All-Time Leading Scorer
Josh Sewell became the school’s all-time leading scorer with 2:42 remaining in the third quarter of a Feb. 2, 2010 win over Seneca on a three-point basket that cut a double digit deficit to zero at 36-36. He finished the game with a season high 29 points. He hit 11-of-16 shots from the field including 4-of-5 from behind the arc, tying his career best. Sewell finished the game with 1,331 points for his career.
Lee Morrison, a 1991 graduate, was the leading scorer in program history before Sewell broke the mark tonight. Morrison’s career total was 1,317.
