Breathitt has stormed out to a 10-1 start, the true test will be the second half of the season when they have Knott County Central, PCC, Hazard again, Buckhorn, South Laurel, Lafayette and a few other teams that will be pretty good tests. It is possible for them to drop 13 games to close out the season.

Breathitt is the most improved team in the 14th region by far!!! We not only came back from being down but we had to beat the stripes 2..those were the worst refs I have ever seen!!!! We are making some noise right now and a lot of teams are taking notice of our boys...If we stay healthy we can give anybody a good game...As far as the coach goes he is a great leader and he can get a lot out of his boys...Coach Noble dedicates his whole life to the round ball and it shows...He is dedicated to improving our program and I look for our program to finally get back to where it was so many many many many years ago...Go bobcats!!!!!

They've had a nice season so far. Yes, they have played a weak overall schedule, and this was a weak tournament at Model. But, their remaining schedule will tell them how far they have come and how far they have to go to be considered a contender in the 14th. I can't see them losing out, as another post suggested. They're better than that,IMO.
