Almost every team in 3A Region 4 District 8 will be suffering with a lot of graduation loss. Until some teams get some serious people to step up in their place, the district is wide open.

Key graduation losses:

Ashland - Angel Gurule, Ian Holbrook
JC - Ron Blume, Sean Music
Mason County - Ty Sargent
Boyd County - Luke Moore, Brennan Sargent
Lawrence County - Not exactly sure here, sure CD could fill it in
Greenup - Well right now they're just Greenup, and they'll be under a 2nd year coach who went 1-9 last season, they have a lot of work to be done.

I think JC will be just fine. They have a Junior Quarterback in J.K. Ratliff who can throw the ball like no other. And to fill in for Blume's shoes is Shawn Grimm. He showed plenty of promise at the halfback position all year making big blocks and runs. I will say it will be between Ashland and JC again next year, but JC @ Home is nuts. I think it is one of the hardest places to play in Eastern Kentucky. With that said, the edge goes to JC (for now).
