Would love to see the Rebels win, but it won't happen. The Dogs at home, on the turf fast track will be the difference. Hazard by 21 points.

I do wanna see how Hazard handles the running game of the Rebels. Even though AC has a great ground game they're really gonna have to step it up in this game! What they did against Pineville won't work against Hazard. Someone mentioned that AC's Punt team is so bad that they'd rather try and throw it 35 yds and get it intercepted than punt the ball. If they do that against Hazard, Hazard will take those INTs back for a TD everytime! So i am gonna take Hazard in this one but if AC steps it up there is a chance they could come out with a win. Another thing AC won't be able to convert all those 2 point conversions that they did against Pineville.

Hazard-38
AC-26

I think Pikeville was there first test, this will be the hardest test they've had this year, they better study film hard and practice hard and work on the pass D, and not have as many pass plays in this game as they did the last, cost them a few turnovers from how it sounded, IMO they should stick to the run game, keep a pass play in mind but proably only one every 2-3 drives, keep a decent amount of defenders up front to keep Hazards run game in check and drop there secondary defenders back enough to not get out run by Hazards WR's speed when they bust out a pass play, nothing fancy stick to what you've done all year

Hunter Crowder is the punter for AC. With the exception of the Knott County game when Hunter was out and Logan Crowder punted- I don't recall punting being a problem for the Rebels. That particular punt (KCC) was pretty much straight up in the air though and did little to help the Rebel's.

Bulldogs too much for Rebs. Hazard 34 A.C. 16

Hazard's big game experience and team speed is too much for AC to overcome.

This is a game I've been wanting to see all season although it is somewhat a David Vs. Goliath matchup. If AC comes out and plays the perfect game with the right gameplan and gets it in their heads that they can't commit turnovers then they could come away with a victory although i'd take Hazard 4/5 times. With that being said I think the Bulldogs will come out on top in a very close and physical game. Hazard by 6.

Good Luck Rebels!

He may have meant that they cover the ball poorly after it has been kicked. Or not though, Im not sure.

This is the post i was refering to when i was talking about AC's punting game. Posted by ericfdx.

Most of Allen Centrals passing attempts came in 3rd and long or 4th and long situations. With the lack of a consitent punting game, it really doesn't hurt Allen Central to throw the ball 25 or 30 yards downfield and have it intercepted. It's really the smartest thing to do because it gives you a chance to complete for a 1st down. If the ball is intercepted that is about what they would gain in punting the ball. On most of those 3rd and long/4th and long situations, it was a penalty that backed them up. I agree on the fact that AC has to stick with the running game as their bread and butter, but those int's really didn't hurt them considering the down and distance...and what was gained by the interception.

Allen Central is a team that is dangerous, so I am going to say AC by a touchdown. GO REBELS!

I look for this one to be a great match up. I wouldn't look for either team to win big in this one.

Well if AC chose to just pass the ball and get an interception on 4th down, all Hazard would have to do is just not catch it and the ball would be spotted back at the line of scrimmage. So punting andtrying to cover it would be their best option IMO.
