This one was't even close, 24-0m after the 1st quarter and they ran the clock the rest of the game. With this big win and yesterday's Jv sqaud beating Prestonsburg 34-13 looks like LC has a lot to look forward to the next several years. They have some quick but powerful guys who can run the ball. #3 Skyler Salyer was a beast out there.

Russell freshman was suppose to play Lawrence a few weeks ago but I think it was called due to rain. I was looking forward to seeing how it played out.

I would be willing to bet both teams had to use some 8th graders. Nice job by the young Bulldogs in any case!

This was played last night in Louisa, both teams had several 8th graders on their teams. Paintsville had 7 players, not sure what LC had. LC had some good looking young talent.

Let's see if I'm getting this right then. Lawrence Co.'s freshmen beat for the most part, the same group that JC's 7th grade team beat last saturday in the conference playoffs? And your gloating over that?

No I'm not gloating over anything and if you look at LC they don't have that many freshman at all, most of the ones who played last night were the 8th graders. They still kicked Paintsville's butt so get your facts straight.

Get my facts straight? Your the one who posted all this stuff. I'm just asking questions, bub. As I said, I was just asking if this was the same group that JC's 7th grade team beat.

Thank you tigerfan. That tells me what I wanted to know.
Hey, maybe you can write a newspaper of your own. Looks like your the one that's able to come up with the facts.

Well we had 4 or 5 8th graders that played.. The center, QB, tackle, fullback and tailback. Why dont you worry more about whats going on up the river then down here.

Sooomeboooody's cranky!!!!
Thanks for the info, Puffy.
Lets see now. Your saying that LC just had 4 or 5 8th graders playing, and then the fellow with the smarty comments that said I should get MY facts straight said that LC was mostly 8th graders? Wow, talk about confusing. I certainly dont want to see you two, coming after each other now. Just minor technicalities here I assume?
OK now, then we have the fellow from Paintsville who appears to have all the definate facts in order says that Paintsville only had a total of 4 freshmen even playing.
Good thing I'm asking questions, huh? Ponder on that one awhile Puffy.

I didn't say mostly 8th graders, they had 4 or 5 out there that played, paintsville had 7 is what their coach told me. Sorry for the confusion.
